F1 23 is almost here and F1 23 F1 World is going to revolutionise how we play the official Formula 1 game.
F1 World has been confirmed thanks to EA Sport F1’s latest Deep Dive into the game’s new content for 2023. More details about Braking Point 2 were confirmed, but it’s F1 World that we’re focusing on today.
We knew this new feature was on the way, but what we didn’t know was what it would include. We’ve now got a lot of the juicy details confirmed though, so, here’s everything we know so far!

F1 23 F1 World
F1 World is going to be the new hub for F1 23, replacing the controversial F1 Life we saw in F1 22. F1 World is a much-expanded F1 Life that has both extra single-player and online multiplayer content.
There are daily, weekly and seasonal events for gamers to play, which will constantly chagning throughout F1 23’s life cycle.
It appears as though completing events will unlock more new events, such as the “Austria Mastery” and “Americas I” that we saw in the Deep Dive reveal.
Passing these events increases your Tech Level and unlocks upgrades for your F1 World car. With a higher tech Level also comes the ability to compete in more difficult challenges.
Solo Series
F1 World isn’t just for multiplayer though, far from it. The Solo Series allows offline players to compete in a series of single player events that hone your driving skills.
Going off the Deep Dive video, Solo Series will include both F1, Formula 2 and Supercars events.
Solo & Multiplayer events
In addition to the Solo Series there are both solo and multiplayer events that you can get into in F1 23. These include daily, weekly and seasonal events which update according to the real-life F1 2023 calendar.
Both multiplayer Grand Prix races and time trial modes are included and there will likely be a lot more where they came from.
It also appears as though this will have a My Team style progression element to it, with the ability to upgrade your F1 World Car as you progress through challenges.
The upgrades go further than your car though, as the key members of your staff can also be upgraded. Similar to how MotoGP 22’s Career Mode worked, you’ll be able to change the Team Principal, Race Strategist and Head of R&D.
Lastly, just like in My Team, you’ll have to continuinly upgrade your sponsors as you climb the online and offline leaderboards.
You’ll also be able to craft upgrades thanks to F1 23’s new Engineering System. Resources such as Cash, Insight, Tear Wear data and Track Data all combine to make new car parts, compendium stickers and contracts.
Compendium
This is probably the most surprising part of the F1 World Deep Dive video. New for F1 23, you’ll now be able to commemorate your achievements in F1 World by collecting a virtual sticker collection within F1 23.
The stickers commemorate landmark moments within Formula 1 and will provide newbies to the sport with a rundown of what they’ve missed in years gone by.
We see Sebastian Vettel’s first title win in 2010, as well as photos of Sir Lewis Hamilton, Sir Jackie Stewart and Lando Norris.
F1 Esports
The integration of F1 Esports into the Formula 1 game continues in F1 23 F1 World. You can compare yourself directly with the best F1 Esports Pro Series drivers.
This is thanks in part to the new division-based ranked multiplayer.
We don’t get too much detail about this in the Deep Dive, but it appears that there are Bronze, Silver, Gold and Elite divisions, with Silver and Gold being further divided into two and three subdivisions, respecitively.
Compeiting in races and climbing the leaderboard earns you the chance to climb the divisions, which have promotion and relegation decided weekly.
