The Fastest Honda in Europe: A Look at the BMT Performance Beast
Welcome to officially gather oh my let’s get it for the best in Universal premium EST containing engine oils and fuel aditives for both petrol and diesel engines check the links in the Description. Jamming my bro, welcome back to the channel. Jamming from BMT performance, big man T performance in the house. You’ve been on quite a few OG battles racing your Hondas, but one that my channel would not have seen so far is this Beast right here which actually holds quite a few records or a record or two. It is the fastest Honda in Europe right now, the fastest full stock 4-wheel drive Honda in Europe.
Build and Setup of the BMT Performance Beast
Now we’re running 82 at 179 miles per hour. That’s front-wheel drive, drive that’s absolutely insane. You’re actually trying to go for a PB, trying to break sevens, right? That’s the aim, we’re trying to do a seven. Any PB would be happy, but Sev is what we’re aiming for. First run straight D, make a break straight off the trailer. If we can do off the trailer, yes, but you know me man, everything has to be straight, power-wise straight away, ready.
Let’s talk about the build and setup of this car and how you think you’re going to actually improve on your best time. This is a 2.4 D stroker to 2.2, it’s got a four-piston fully built head, some custom cams which we have tried and they have worked in our favor. It’s got a center feed normal stuff, sequential gearbox, Precision 8385 turbo set at 60 PSI. What kind of PSI do you run, what kind of power do you make?
When we hit 82, it was 37 to 43 PSI max, so today we’re going to up it to 60 PSI regardless. We’ll be going straight to 60. On my gate, we’re going to ask for 60. What kind of power would it be making on 60 PSI? We think we’re at about 1300 horsepower at the crank. If 60, it’s got to be over 1500 or close to 1500, but we don’t like to brag because the times tell the tale.
Weight Distribution and Performance
With front-wheel drive high power cars, the 60-foot is great, but the mid-track is where you guys really pick up, right? Yeah, that’s where we get up. We were clocking about 146 at the 18, so we want to go a bit more if we can. What kind of 60s do you pull with this car? We’re running my best is 1.46.
One thing that’s quite interesting when it comes to front-wheel drive is the dynamics change. You’ve got to get as much weight over the front as possible, right? We’re close to 1100 kg give or take. Just this part of the front of the car, you’re at like 160 kg. Wow, so that’s just the front. We still ain’t got it corner-balanced, the front end up to here is about 800 kg to 850 kg just the front. The rear end is 220 kg give or take.
Race Day Challenges and Performance
Wishing you the best of luck, it would be great if we could catch that PB on camera. It’s already Europe’s fastest, so I mean can it be even faster. Let’s see, that’s the plan, all the best.
Let’s run again and send it so off to a decent start right 8.6 179, Jesus, you’ve got to have some balls to drive that. Sevens or at least the PB, oh man, the first half seems good, don’t know what happened. It wasn’t meant to be today, it was never meant to be.
It’s not what you want but I’m sure you’re going to run again and send it. They’re not here to mess around, they’ll be going for the PB, trying to break that seven, it’s going to be interesting.
Conclusion
Today it was not meant to be, it wasn’t today man, good one at first, it was all around. The first one we forgot to put down the tire pressure, it is what it is. It still doesn’t take away that this is still the fastest Honda in Europe. Thank you again for everything, really appreciate it.
Before we go, where can people find you bro? We’re big man ting, we’re in Birmingham, just hit us up on Instagram. Wicked, I’ll leave links to your socials including street races down below in the description. Thank you again, man, thank you very much, anytime, good luck on Saturday, take it easy, nice one. Let’s go!
